Career Area of the Week:
How about a BAKER? BAKERS bake breads, rolls, cakes, pies, cookies and various other items. They measure flour, sugar, shortening and various other ingredients and mix them in a large mixing machine bowls according to recipes. Some BAKERS may learn the trade through apprenticeship programs, usually in craft bakeries. Many apprentice bakers participate in correspondence study and may work towards a certificate in baking. Some large hotels, restaurants and supermarkets have their own training programs for bakers.
Students stop by the office and see the PVMS clothes we are selling from now until December 4th! Be sure to purchase yours so you can show your Royal spirit. All money must be turned in no later than Friday, December 4th. You may pick up an order form in the office.
