Career Area of the Week:
How about a FITNESS TRAINER? FITNESS TRAINERS develop exercise programs and plan routines to help people improve their physical health. They explain exercised to participants. They may give stress tests and record results in charts in computers. They teach stress management, nutrition, and weight control, cross-training and related subjects. An increasing number of employers require FITNESS TRAINERS to have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to health and fitness, such as exercise science or physical education.
