Career Area of the Week:
How about a PHOTOGRAPHER? PHOTOGRAPHERS use cameras and film, or digital cameras and computers, to portray people, place and events. They try to capture the feeling or mood that sells products, highlights news stories and brings back memories. Employers look for PHOTOGRAPHERS with imagination and creativity and technical understanding of photography. Entry level positions in photojournalism or scientific photography may need a college degree in journalism or photography. A good portfolio is essential for freelance photographers.

It is time to sign up for a fun year with Circle of Friends. If you would like to be a member of Circle of Friends, see Mrs. Borst in E-10 or Mrs. Steffan in E-8.

Braindrop for the day:
Golf is a precision club-and-ball sport in which competing players, using many types of clubs, attempt to hit balls into each hole on a golf course while employing the fewest number of strokes. Golf is played on golf "courses," each of which features a unique design, although courses typically consist of either 9 or 18 holes.
