Career Area of the Week:
How about a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE? PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES are physically skilled persons who compete in organized, officiated sports events to entertain spectators. They play before a paying live audience to entertain people and also to make a living. Regardless of the sport, PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES must have an immense overall knowledge of the sport they play. Athletes usually begin competing in sports while in elementary or middle school and continue through high school and often college.

You may see their work as part of the monthly Final Friday Art Show tonight at Century II in downtown Wichita. (225 West Douglas) The public reception is from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. this evening, Friday April 30th. You may enter the Century II building on the East side; across from the Library. Please be sure to congratulate these students!

The Przewalski's horse is also known as the Asiatic wild horse, or Mongolian wild horse. It is stocky, short, and pot-bellied, with a spiky mane like a zebra.
