Career Area of the Week:
How about a BAKER? BAKERS bake bread, rolls, cakes, pies, cookies and various other items. They measure flour, sugar, shortening and various other ingredients and mix them in large mixing machine bowls according to recipes. Some BAKERS may lean the trade through apprenticeship programs, usually in craft bakeries. Many apprentice bakers participate in correspondence study and may work towards a certificate in baking.

There will be no school tomorrow Friday, February 12th AND Monday, February 15th, due to a District Inservice and Presidents’ Day. Students will return to school Tuesday, February 16th! Enjoy your 4 day weekend!!!

Autorad is short for autoradiograph, the final result in a DNA analysis. Autorads are also known as DNA fingerprints. An autorad resembles a bar code or a ladder, and each different DNA sample will give a different pattern on an autorad.
