Career Area of the Week:
How about a FLIGHT ATTENDANT? FLIGHT ATTENDANTS make sure that safety regulations are abided by and try to make flights as comfortable as possible for passengers. They make sure that first aid kits and other emergency equipment are abroad and in working order. They make sure they have food, pillows and blankets. Employers prefer to hire FLIGHT ATTENDANTS who have several years of college or experience in dealing with the public. Increasingly, new flight attendant hire are college graduates.

Attention 8th grade Bio-Med applicants: Please complete your required application & essay and request teacher recommendations. The deadline is March 5th! Don’t delay—mail them today!!!

Come and support the girls and boys basketball teams as they take on Hamilton. The game is March 1, the cost is $1 and there will be a D/F list.

STUCO is still collecting change for the Pennies for Patients fundraiser. The money raised will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The homeroom who collects the most money will receive lunch from the Olive Garden.

One of the smallest islands in the world is Bishop Rock, at the westernmost tip of the Isles of Scilly. Only a lighthouse sits on the rock ledge. The island acts as a barrier between the British Isles and the Atlantic Ocean.
