Career Area of the Week:
How about a MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN? MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS test, install, inspect, adjust, service, repair and maintain biomedical equipment used in healthcare. Equipment includes heat-lung machines, electrocardiographs, ventilators, patient monitors, x-ray machines, pacemakers, dialysis machines and defibrillators. Employers require MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS to have a two-year associate or a certificate from an approved and accredited vocational/technical school. Many 2-year colleges offer programs leading to an associate degree in electronics.

STUCO will meet Wednesday in E11 during lunch.
Honor Society will meet Thursday in E11 during lunch.
NAL will meet Friday in E11 during lunch; 6th and 7th grade NAL team members need to return their t-shirts.
STUCO will be sponsoring the Spring Fling dance this Friday, March 26th from 6:00-8:00. The cost will be $3.00, the D/F list will be in use. Any student who received a write up in the last nine weeks will not be allowed to join in the fun.
STUCO will be holding the free movie matinee this Saturday at 10:00.
