Career Area of the Week:
How about a MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN? MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS test, install, inspect, adjust, service, repair and maintain biomedical equipment used in healthcare. Equipment includes heat-lung machines, electrocardiographs, ventilators, patient monitors, x-ray machines, pacemakers, dialysis machines and defibrillators. Employers require MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS to have a two-year associate or a certificate from an approved and accredited vocational/technical school. Many 2-year colleges offer programs leading to an associate degree in electronics.

STUCO will be sponsoring the Spring Fling dance this Friday, March 26th from 6:00-8:00. The cost will be $3.00, the D/F list will be in use. Any student who received a write up in the last nine weeks or since returning from break will not be allowed to join in the fun.

Parent Organization is having a popcorn and Popsicle sale during recess on Friday, March 26th. Please bring 50 cents to purchase the item of your choice and enjoy during recess. Parent Organization thanks you for your support!

NAL will meet Friday in E11 during lunch; 6th and 7th grade NAL team members need to return their t-shirts.

STUCO will be holding the free movie matinee this Saturday at 10:00. The movie will be “The Princess and the Frog”.

The only American LEGOLAND is located in Carlsbad, California. It opened on March 20, 1999 and features amazing LEGO constructions including the magnificent Miniland, USA.
