Career Area of the Week:
How about a MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN? MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS test, install, inspect, adjust, service, repair and maintain biomedical equipment used in healthcare. Equipment includes heat-lung machines, electrocardiographs, ventilators, patient monitors, x-ray machines, pacemakers, dialysis machines and defibrillators. Employers require MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS to have a two-year associate or a certificate from an approved and accredited vocational/technical school. Many 2-year colleges offer programs leading to an associate degree in electronics.

STUCO will be sponsoring the Spring Fling dance TONIGHT from 6:00-8:00. The cost will be $3.00, the D/F list will be in use. Any student who received a write up in the last nine weeks or since returning from break will not be allowed to join in the fun.
STUCO will be holding the free movie matinee TOMORROW at 10:00 a.m. The movie will be “The Princess and the Frog”.
