Career Area of the Week:
How about an ATHELETIC TRAINER? ATHLETIC TRAINERS are concerned with the prevention, recognition, management and rehabilitation of sports injuries. They help athletes avoid unnecessary medical treatment and disruption of normal daily activities by overseeing programs to maintain their physical fitness and prevent injury. They make sure athletes are in the best physical condition and are able to withstand the rigors of competition. Employers prefer to hire ATHLETIC TRAINERS with at least a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. Some employers prefer a master’s degree.

Braindrop for the day:
Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. A rare, hard, blue-gray, lustrous transition metal, tantalum is highly corrosion resistant. The chemical inertness of tantalum makes it a valuable substance for laboratory equipment and a substitute for platinum, but its main use today is in tantalum capacitors.
